Description
This US Census Bureau dataset contains the TIGER/Line shapefiles for the Commonwealth of Virginia. It is an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) Database (MTDB). The primary purpose of this dataset is to define Virginia geographic boundaries based on 5-digit FIPS codes and 4 to 6-digit Census Tracts. All legal boundaries and names are as of January 1, 2019. Released August 9, 2019.
