DEQ Pollution Response Program (PReP), provides for responses to air, water, and waste pollution incidents in order to protect human health and the environment. This layer provides a detailed description of multimedia pollution inspection reports filed through PReP beginning May 29, 2019. These details include, but are not limited to, the location of a pollution incident, the date of an incident, the description of an incident, and the current status of an incident.

The Virginia Coastal Resilience Master Plan builds on the 2020 Virginia Coastal Resilience Master Planning Framework, which outlined the goals and principles of the Commonwealth’s statewide coastal resilience strategy. Recognizing the urgent challenge flooding already poses, the Commonwealth developed Phase One of the Master Plan on an accelerated timeline and focused this first assessment on the impacts of tidal and storm surge coastal flooding on coastal Virginia. The Master Plan leveraged the combined efforts of more than two thousand stakeholders, subject matter experts, and government personnel. We centered the development of this plan around three core components:

A Technical Study compiled essential data, research, processes, products, and resilience efforts in the Coastal Resilience Database, which forms much of basis of this plan and the Coastal Resilience Web Explorer;

A Technical Advisory Committee supported coordination across key stakeholders and ensured the incorporation of the best available subject matter knowledge, data, and methods into this plan; and

Stakeholder Engagement captured diverse resilience perspectives from residents, local and regional officials, and other stakeholders across Virginia’s coastal communities to drive regionally specific resilience priorities.Data products used and generated for the Virginia Coastal Resilience.

This dataset represents the data that was developed for the technical study. Appendix F - Data Product List provides a list of available data. The Virginia DEQ Petroleum Storage Tank Program provides various customer services to the Virginia community and other interested parties graphical information for Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) and Underground Storage Tank (UST) Regulated Facilities. DEQ petroleum tank program develops regulations and coordinates the statewide effort to maintain compliance with the AST/UST requirements. The DEQ staff conducts AST/UST compliance inspections of regulated tanks in a cooperative effort with the regulated community to protect human health and the environment. The GIS layer shows AST/UST Tank Facilities registered with DEQ.

This dataset includes all non-point source (nps) nutrient banks
that have been certified or have submitted an application.  The layer is point geometry type and details
the location of every bank.  Each bank is
designated as pending, approved, and sold out.

The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act Information System (RCRAInfo) is EPA’s comprehensive information system in support of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) of 1976 and the Hazardous and Solid Waste Amendments (HSWA) of 1984. It tracks many types of information about generators, transporters, treaters, storers, and disposers of hazardous waste.
