VDH-PUD-2012-2021-Reportable-Disease-Surveillance-VA-Geography

This dataset includes case counts and incidence rates per 100,000 population for reportable communicable disease conditions by year and geography from 2012 to 2021. This dataset corresponds to the data on https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/surveillance-and-investigation/annual-report/. Each condition includes a total case count of the state by year. Condition will also have lower-level geographies (locality or region) as allowed by the data suppression policy at VDH. Conditions with low annual case counts are summarized by VDH regions of the state. Conditions with high annual case counts (over 20) are summarized by Localities.

Data will only be updated yearly as this is an annual report. Additional conditions will be added in the future release.
